Fabianski feeling positive after Milan game

Lukasz Fabianski believes there are a lot of positives to take from Arsenal's 1-1 Emirates Cup draw with AC Milan.

The Gunners were pegged back late on having taken the lead through new signing Marouane Chamakh, and the goalkeeper believes the performances of Chamakh and Laurent Koscienly were encouraging.

Speaking to Arsenal TV Online, he said: "Not only the goal, he [Chamakh] played well collectively. He always wanted to give a good pass, he has great movement as well, so I think he can improve us.

"Koscienly did well, he's a good reader of the game and he's strong and aggressive with his tackles. He has a good understanding with Thomas Vermaelen as well."

The Pole concluded that it was a fairly tight game, but believes Arsenal possibly edged it in terms of chances created.

He was, however, disappointed at the manner in which Arsenal conceded the equaliser.

He added: "Maybe it was a fair result, but I think we created more chances to score a goal. Overall, I think it was a tight game.

"It's always difficult to defend that kind of free kick, so we got caught on that, but overall I think we played quite well."
