As with the usual Arsene Wenger signing Laurent appeared on the scene in early June and by the end of the
month he was training with The Arsenal. I would have to say if Wenger spends anywhere near the £8Mil reported on the defender then he must be half sensible. My worry is that the spending stops here.
24 year old Koscielny signed official yesterday and for, as usual, and undisclosed fee, on yes a long term contract. Laurent has been given the number 6 shirt.
He plays on the right of the two in the middle so will suit Vermaelen but he lack experience at anywhere near Champions League level.
I can’t wait to see him in action to see if Wenger has unearthed another gem as he did last summer.

A fighter you say? I hope so. He certainly didn’t hold any prisoners when coming up against new team mate Chamakh.
