Cesc Fabregas has given Arsenal a massive boost by insisting he is going nowhere and is fully focused on the challenges ahead.
The Gunners' captain has long-been linked with a return to Barcelona, who have had two bids in the region of £30m turned down for the player, but now the 23-year-old has pledged his immediate future to the club, allowing boss Arsene Wenger to concentrate on matters on the field.
Punters looking to use their free bet will no doubt have taken note of Fabregas' comments as he says he is "100% committed' to the Arsenal cause and their push for the Premier League title.
Fabregas said: "I owe a lot to the club, manager and the fans and I will respect their decision and will now concentrate on the new season ahead with Arsenal.
"I can assure all the fans that now the negotiations have ended I will be 100% focused on playing for Arsenal.
"I am an Arsenal player and as soon as I step out onto the pitch, that is the only club I will be thinking about.
"I am looking forward to the start of the season and putting this speculation behind me."
Arsenal have been handed a tough start to the new season with a trip to Liverpool, before they entertain Premier League new boys Blackpool in their opening home clash the following weekend.
