Bolton hopeful of having Wilshere back

Bolton star Sean Davis admits that manager Owen Coyle is not the only person who is desperate to have midfielder Jack Wilshere back at the Reebok Stadium.

The 17-year-old made such a good impression on the Reebok faithful that Coyle has repeatedly reaffirmed his wish for Wilshere to come back to Bolton on-loan, but admits that it's a decision that lies with manager Arsène Wenger.

Wilshere, for his part, says that he certainly does not want to go back to playing reserve team football, and wants to be playing in the first team regularly.

Davis said: "Every player and the fans would love Jack to come back.

"But whether he does is up to him and Arsenal. He has a bright future, but I could see him, maybe if Fabregas goes, getting into the Arsenal team.

"I think he could play for England, definitely and after a poor World Cup I think they need to focus on the younger players."
