Walcott has faith in Arsenal Brits

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has been beaming about the club's home grown youth talent and has singled out Jack Wilshere for special credit.

Walcott, who already seems an admiral among some of the younger players even at the age of 19, said:

"He's a really nice lad, for a little lad he's very strong, he's got a good left foot and his link-up play and reading of the game is fantastic.

"He makes it look so easy when he plays and every time he gets the ball and does something he brings a smile to your face.

"I'm sure he'll get a chance or two this season, he's still young so he'll want to play, but he will need rest as well.

"It's nice to have another English face in the changing room though, especially after Justin Hoyte left. I was sad to see Justin go, but with Jack and Aaron Ramsey there are a few Brits in the squad.

Walcott's quotes are encouraging and deserve credit even if his own progression hasn't been on auto, but with the more games he gets for Arsenal he can only improve at a quicker rate and this is a huge year for him and has to prove he is worthy of an auto starting role in the team.

Wilshere seem's comfortable in almost every game he plays in, never looking out of place. Obviously too early to bee an auto choice for the first team, however I and most fans will looking forward to seeing him in a few games for Arsenal this season after being promoted to the first team.
