I heard yesterday that four clubs were in for the Croatian star including Aston Villa but rumours doing the rounds this afternoon indicate that the frontman we bough three years ago from Dinamo Zagreb is on his way to the Ukraine.
If the switch does go through, it could, could, mean that the bid for Joe Cole gathers more pace as we have been told that the arrival of free agent formerly of Chelshit depends on players going from the Arsenal, namely Tom Rosicky or Eduardo. Seeing as Tom signed a new contract last season and figured in the 4-0 victory at Barnet yesterday it could well be that our No.9 is the one leaving.
