Can someone tell Laporta to shut up?

I am getting increasingly frustrated by the blatant tapping up of Premier League players by Real Madrid and Barcelona. I thought that Real Madrid had set a new low last summer with their two year campaign to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United, but Barcelona is setting a whole new standard in their pursuit of Cesc Fabregas.

Outgoing Barcelona President Joan Laporta was quoted over the weekend as saying that he is confident that Arsenal will eventually “give in” and allow Fabregas to move back to the Nou Camp.

“Arsenal will end up giving in, but I don’t know when that will be. We will have to wait and let the professionals who are taking care of it do their work.”

Arsenal are one of the few teams that don’t need the transfer funds that a Fabregas sale will bring. We know that Wenger is extremely frugal in the transfer market so an additional £50m will not affect him that much.

I want Arsenal to take a stand and tell Laporta and the rest of his Barca team to get lost. And to also tell Fabregas that he has to honor the contract that he signed.
